Why PDI exists

Private Domain Info was conceived to deal with one of the biggest drawbacks of the Internet — the lack of privacy. PDI believes you should be able to keep your private information private when you register a domain name. Now you can, by switching your “public” registration to a “private” one with PDI, using our private registration service.

Our affiliates have included eNom, a major ICANN-accredited registrar through which a substantial share of the world’s domains have been managed, as well as hosting partners historically including ViaWest / ViaVerio. The public ranking of any single registrar changes over time; the arrangement does not: support for your domain remains with your Internet Service Provider (ISP), hosting provider, or domain registrar.

So if you want to keep your personal information private and still retain all the benefits of domain ownership, then a private domain info registration is for you.
