PrivateDomainInfo.com is a proxy domain name registrar. Private Domain Info enables domain name holders to conceal their personal information from the public WHOIS / RDAP record by assigning each member a unique ID code along with valid alternate contact information.

Other domain name registrars have employed deceptive scare tactics to try to get PDI-protected domain owners to switch registries so they will “own their domain name again.” As soon as those registrars strip you of your private PDI registration, they turn around and try to charge as much as $30 or more to turn the registration private again.

It is a sales maneuver. Do not fall for it. You still own your name when it is protected with PDI. Until those other registrars contact us to inquire about a domain name, they do not know who owns it. Private Domain Info does not own any names. We simply provide the private registration service.
